Bilingual Cake special edition @ the Telegraph Hill Festival

Special in what sense?

  • It is a charity event: the fee of £3 (or £1 concessions) goes to support our wonderful local festival.
  • It will be suitable for parents of bilingual children, professionals who work with children, as well the general audience.

Usually everyone in Bilingual Cake audience is a parent of a bilingual of trilingual child. Not so at the Telegraph Hill Festival.

This special edition will be more accessible to professionals who work with bilingual children: nursery staff, health visitors, GPs, speech and language therapists, teachers, head teachers, psychologists...

Any adult interested in what goes on in bilingual family life is welcome.

Venue: The Old Library @ Telegraph Hill Centre

We will meet at the Telegraph Hill Centre in the space now called the Old Library. It is the space above Hill Station. Entrance is from Kitto Road.

It used to be Cafe Fed and before that Cafe Orange. Even before that it was a library. Hence the name.
